BeatleMark (2011, January 9) One of my favorite Bealtes lp\\\'s! I agree with a previous post about the added reverb. Makes it sound better! The 2nd side stereo is my fave! Love how the sound of \\\"I\\\'ll Be Back\\\" resonates in an empty room! |
Martin Jackson Heights NY (2009, November 20) I think Beatles 65 is better than Beatles For Sale at least soundwise. I always loved The Us version of their songs which always added a little reverb to give that nice sound in which the UK versions are always so bland. |
Bill (2004, July 18) One of my all-time faves! |
? (2003, May 18) Basically, this is the first half of Beatles for Sale with some extras. A good listen for sure, but definitely not as good as the original album. |
All Music Guide (2002, March 10) Dave Dexter, Jr. (a name which will live in infamy) "assisted" the Beatles by pulling eight tracks from Beatles for Sale, one from A Hard Day's Night, and both sides of the latest Beatles single ("I Feel Fine"/"She's a Woman") for the creation of this album. — William Ruhlmann |
