She Loves You : the record which propelled the Beatles into the national view, its infamous 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' hook line quickly becoming a hackneyed catchphrase. It was the group's first single to sell a million copies in Britain alone, passing the halfway mark on 3 September and the million milestone on 27 November. It also achieved the very rare feat of enjoying two separate spells at number one on the charts, originally occupying the summit for four weeks, spending a further seven in the top three and then returning to the top for another two weeks.
